Nice review of GC vs. Blue (but) I still have to ask how you go about buying a domain from GoDaddy for $.99 and host/use it on Bluehost?
Hi Neil, if you buy a domain from Godaddy and want to host them at Bluehost, you need to do these steps:
1. Take note of the shared IP address of your hosting server at Bluehost (or any other hosting you are using). You can find it on the left hand side of the cPanel interface.
2. Go to Godaddy Domain Manager. Click on the domain you wish to edit. Then click on Total DNS Control.
3. Click on the edit icon to change your WWW or @ record to your new Bluehost shared IP address. Alternatively click on the Add New A Record button to add the new A record (such as WWW or any other subdomains).
Let me know if that does not work.
Good luck.
