Bottom line was with them for 24 hours and submitted4 tickets for downtime/speed on business plan…Fatcow shared plan was faster and up more..and customer service forget about it…these guys blow..buyer beware
pacifichost is great really I like their new cloudflare service and their speeds are incredible, I have a ping to my website under 80ms which is amazing. I haven’t needed to contact their support simply because everything has been going good so far, will update if anything changes
They look cool, I used them past 2 months, I never contacted them after initial setup for support help, very well handled people. PacificHost is very good.
I used several other web hosts before coming to pacifichost and I had a lot of problems with downtime and slowness when the site wasn’t down. It was killing us so I looked for other hosts and based my research on uptime and price. I chose pacifichost and they have been everything that I could have hoped for with absolutely no problems since we moved to their hosting. When I need support it is very quick and they take care of the issue with no attitude. I’m not an IT guy so this is important to me. Don’t have any complaints about ignorant techs or availability issues, they have always been there for me. I can’t say I have enough knowledge to tell you more about their reliability and uptime but at the very least the customer service is the best I have ever experienced.

I agree that tech. support is fairly good but you’ll have to push to get things fixed. My biggest complaint is that they do not spot issues on their own or are even aware that they broke something. Rather I had to open tickets or chat with their support folks to get things fixed.
Just recently, (ie yesterday) I noticed my site was down and had to contact them to get it fixed. I give them credit for fixing it fairly quickly. However trying to find out what actually caused my outage was a bit more difficult. Apparently, they migrated my account to a new server and missed some edits. I didn’t get any advice notice of this migration. Also, the tech. I was chatting with didn’t seem to know this either.
I’m aware other hosting companies are worst but please don’t call this the best. It can be much better.

I am pleased dealing with PacificHost web host. It is really professional host, and they have the quickest support ever.

I have seen some reviews here that aren’t so nice (so much hate going around). I wanted to shed some light on this company. I’ve been with 2 other hosting companies who I’d rather not say since this review isn’t about them. When I signed up with Pacifichost I wasn’t lured in by their unlimited hosting but rather when I called them somebody answered (unheard of for quite a few companies) and he answered all my questions regarding their uptime, support and how they run their “unlimited” hosting.
I signed up and I have been here for a about 2 months and I can say I am quite satisified. I ran into script permission error and submitted a ticket and they fixed it within 3 hours. One day my site was down and I called them, the guy opened a ticket for me and it turns out my IP was blocked. I later learned they actually allowed you to unblock your own IP in the client billing area.
There have been a few times in which I noticed a speed issue with my site where it would take a few seconds to load but it doesn’t happen very often and it occurs mostly with a test Magento install, which I was surprised to learn they supported Magento as while searching I found some hosts don’t even allow it for some reason.
So in short I am happy with Pacifichost, I haven’t experienced any downtime, they always answer when I call their phone lines and I receive a response through the ticket system in a reasonable period of time.
If I have to say anything negative it would be slight speed issues occasionally, their cPanel theme needs work, although I was told they are in the works on redoing it. Their live chat support can’t do much other then open support tickets for you. Pacifichost isn’t perfect but based on my interaction and level of service I have received it is worth it to me and it seems like they know what they are doing.
