Thank you for contacting support, and I hope you have a great day.
Started Saturday and I was upset over the outage, wanted something more than “we apologize for the problem”. The answer from customer support “Do you call a cab because you can’t wait for the bus”? and the guy gave me a premium support popup!
I waited a whole day, then a customer support engineer said my DNS was not pointed at startlogic, closed the ticket. That’s total bull, I’m using URL forwarding.
Then an engineer says I’m exceeding SQL queries, max set at 75,000 at their end, and they will investigate. I haven’t changed anything, then suddenly one day it starts? I went with that answer, they promised me they would escalate.
Then 9 hours later, an engineer says “the categories of your blog are missing please correct the problem”. Closed the ticket. Thats bull, can’t see the pages because there’s a problem on their end! I reopened the ticket.
Finally an engineerr says I need to pay for a vps, or $20 a month to add #SQL queries. I did it. 2 days later I was up
Was it really that? Doubtful. Today, even startlogic.com was down. All my sites are down.
Conclusion: People are talking up startlogic because they are affiliates! They get commission for saying good things about them, forwarding them traffic. DONT USE THEM!
