Think again. Do not dismiss the fact that Webair is one of the most popular dedicated server hosting companies in the market today. You have read the other good Webair reviews elsewhere. Webair does what a hosting company should do. That is, Webair actually answers their phones, replies to their emails, doesn’t rip you off, and provides quality hosting. So among the hundred thousands of satisfied clients, surely they will be a few who disagree. Let us look at the numbers above.
From the above number, only 5 out of every 10,000 SERP pages about Webair says that this web host sucks. This is extremely good considering other hostings we have looked at have much worst ratio.
We know, finding a good managed hosting solution can be tiring and time consuming, when you should be building site, marketing or selling your product.

I’m sure every company has its good and bad points. Since I moved to webair I have seen my bottom line go up and my conversions almost double. The support has been top notch for me. The offer online live person support and phone support that answers anytime i call. The also have a ticket system which lacked a bit in the past with response time, but has been responding to every ticket i open within minutes the past few months.
Bravo to webair this is the best host i have ever been with! 5 star recommendation!

As I write this post webair.com is down
I’ve been hosting 10 domains with webair for about 4 years now, and they really have a good uptime and a fast support. But there’s always been some problems with MySQL databases which went down say once in every two months, and my sites depend heavily on MySQL. So, if you have a simple html-based website I recommend this host.

been with Webair for over 5 years now and have had everything from small virtual plans to now running a dedicated server cluster. They are the best host I have dealt with by far. Service and Support is very good, fast, and professional. Never experienced any downtime or lingering issues that I would get with other hosts. Just started using their Cloud Storage too for my critical data, very happy with it.
I recommend Webair to everyone because I started out with a small nothing account and have grown steadily and they always treated me like they really cared about my business and they have been a great host.
I newerly webair customer “virtual server”
° horror problems just to create subdomains c/o “www”
° Offline up to 5 days and counting.
° reply confused Support
° emails with no “sender ID ”
° bad spam filter
° poor control panel
Do not recommend !!
I been with webair last year. I brought the share account and pay them monthly. This way I can test them out and if I don’t like it will just cancel and go else where. A few months past and everything was great, it was so great I decide to open a second account and paid them for 1 year. About 4-5 months in when I have all my sites moved to their server I started to have database problem. Then it got worst, the server was slow and I was still getting errors on my wordpress blogs. So I decided to move away from webair for good. The account I paid for 1 year was only used for about 5-6 months. I would recommend webair if you have regular html pages. If you have wordpress or other heavy database sites, just be careful…
I have been with Webair for the past two years. Since I migrated my sites over from another host things have been great. Webair network hasnt been down at all for the past two years which is important to me when looking for a host. I started out with a $9.95 per month account and I started to outgrow the bandwidth and storage quickly. They were on top of things monitoring my sites and usage and offered me a great deal on a VPS server. Things picked up for me again and I needed to get a dedicated server which went really smooth. They have specials all of the time which I think is great. I have been on this dedicated server for over a year and have nothing but good to say about the support team over there and the customer service that I feel goes above and beyond the normal calls of duty. I recommend Webair for all of your hosting needs!
I’m having an issue with them as we speak! FTP problems started early yesterday, so I opened a support ticket, got a reply asking for details within 10 minutes or so, so I replied with the details and I haven’t heard back since, and it’s been well over 36 hours now. I tried calling phne support, but now it says that my plan does not included phone support!! I had phone support and live help when I first signed up, but they decided to change all that so now what I though I had, I no longer have.
Also, a week or so ago, all my websites were down, and this had happened a few times in a row within a month, so I opened a support ticket and asked why this keeps happening, so the reply was “Maybe you need to upgrade to a dedicated server” – holy crap! Are they causing the problems on purpose just to try and sell me a more expensive hosting package? What a rip off this company is!! I hate switching hosts as it’s a real pain in the ass, but I can see it coming in my near future for sure!!
I joined WEBAIR and DREAMHOST back 3 years ago.
People in the net were telling Webair is TOP and Dreamhost is overselling. Well Dreamhost was really cheap so I gave it a try with some of my sites.. WEBAIR price was not the cheapest but ok for my budget. So I hosted some sites there. Today I can say that WEBAIR is SHIT!! I don’t know what they did, but all of my sites run slower and slower, outage more and more and it even became more and more expensive!! Sales & support suck! People seem to be dumb there and do not really care about your problems. They say “your site is the reason…” As I if I do not know how to code my sites.
Dreamhost, meanwhile also became more expensive, but not the same like webair, well I had just some very few issues with them at the beginning (maybe fist year only) but the service was always TOP and the people there knew what they were speaking about! But the site quality became better and better.
So all in all I must admit to the few hundert people speaking about this, if you run serious business spend some more money and STAY AWAY FROM WEBAIR! It is not a good host and will make your business die if it continues this way!
They should take more time to optimize their infrastructure and they should send their staff to seminars more often, or should start teaching them more stuff.
Webair Rocks! I changed 3 hosts before i go to them, and the pain and nerves i wasted I do not want to even mention. Webair were the only one who took the time to get my shit fixed. I make more signups now and get less complaints, not to mention my bill which is close to half what could be if i went to rackspace.
I’ve been with them for a few years, here is my advice: For dedicated servers, they rock. If you want a shared hosting plan, no matter what size, make sure you don’t run database reliant sites (e.g. wordpress) with them, since the shared sql database servers are extremely slow and down several times a month. It was better in earlier days, but since most platforms nowadays rely on databases, it looks like they missed this new trend. So, a great host, but some of the shittiest shared sql servers I’ve seen…and I have accounts with over 15 hosts.
I moved to Webair 3 years ago. In the beginning I was not sure if they were good, their website sucked and the only reason which made me switch was some post on gfy. After I got my dedicated server, my uptime is close to 100% and every issue has been resolved promptly, live chat is awesome, techs are professional, and every ticket is answered, no Indian bullshit. My vote is A+ for dedicated server plan.
Techbower is hosted on webair, and we havn’t have a problem yet. They “revamped” things recently so I will see how it goes for a few months.
I’m going to have to second those that say Webairs mysql database servers are the worst i have ever seen in my 15 years online. Their actualy hosting servers are fine, but god help anyone wanting to use a datbase on their site as their database servers are down multiple times per week, often for days at a time. And when they are online and working they’re incredibly slow and unresponsive, often causing the site to appear to be down. So yes, i would not trust them as far as i could throw them with regards to hosting. Not to mention their support staff outright lying about work that has or has not been carried out.
Webair’s Hosting Control Panel is a total JOKE. I had to login to their service today because a client of mine uses their service otherwise I would never have bothered even looking at them.
With Webair their Control Panel’s text is in the smallest font you put on screen, it’s all pushed over to the left side of the screen, find the mail client settings is impossible. Basically their control panel is about 5-10 years in past. They need to upgrade today. I feel sorry for anyone who tries to deal with their backend.
I use another hosting company for all of my domains and they use Cpanel, which is the easiest to navigate and understand.
Just thought I would let people know that there are much better options out there.
I have been a Webair customer since 1998 and all I can say is: Dedicated rocks, shared totally, utterly sucks. Their shared servers are slow, the number of shared mysql servers is a bad joke and you can expect slow loading sites 90%-95% of the time. Slow, like timeout. If you go for dedicated, they are simply decent.
Webair has allowed spam to flood my email box. I have written dozens of complaints to their company, which have been ignored. Twice a “real person” from Webair has written me back, with assurances that they “spoke to the client” that the emails came from, and a few days later, they start up again. The emails are of a graphic nature, and there is no reason that I should be receiving them….With small children in the household, this is unacceptable. I would NOT recommend this company. There “customer support” is totally useless.
