Heard about StartLogic problems on some reviews? Some say Start Logic Hosting scams or Startlogic sucks? Saw some StartLogic.com issues, StartLogic complaints and bad customer experiences? Can these negative reviews be trusted? Heard some StartLogic horror stories and their limitations? Let us be fair to Startlogic and do our own research.
If you are considering to get a hosting account from StartLogic (or any other hosts), you should do a search for the keywords “StartLogic Sucks” on Google. This may not be the best way to learn about the web host but knowing the possible problems with a web host can save you time and money in the future. To be fair to a webhost, you also need to look deeper than just the negative reviews, i.e you should also look at what the satisfied customers are saying and compare the percentage of satisfied vs disgruntled ones.
If you go through each of Googles result pages, it seems there are quite a few unsatisfied customers and clients who have been through some sticky situation with StartLogic. If you search for the keywords “StartLogic sucks”, you see that there are more than 30 results by Google. Is that a lot of bad things said about one hosting? Assuming all those result pages really talk about why this hosting provider sucked in some ways. There may be more result pages when you search for “StartLogic scam”, “StartLogic issues“, or ”StartLogic problems“. Should these hate or complaint sites such as startlogicsucks.com worry you after you have read so many positive reviews? Should hate pages make you change your mind? You should also consider people who think Starlogic rocks or search for “I love Startlogic” cases. Unfortunately, we cannot find many of those positive reviews thus we have to say we are not impressed with Startlogic’s reputation on the web so far.

Do not dismiss the fact that StartLogic is one of the popular web hosting companies in the market today. You have read the other StartLogic reviews elsewhere. StartLogic does what a hosting company should do. That is, StartLogic actually answers their phones, replies to their emails and many customers are in fact satisfied with their services. So among the hundred thousands of satisfied clients, surely they will be a few who disagree? Let us look at the numbers further.
An unbiased and independent web hosting comparison site gave Startlogic a score of only about 2 over 10. Alternatively, they compared Startlogic with Inmotion Hosting, another webhost with almost similar packages, prices, popularity and number of customers. You be the judge and take a look for yourself and decide.
We know, finding a good web hosting can be tiring and time consuming, when you should be building your blog or selling your product.
So our verdict: Hostingsthatsuck.com recommends InMotion hosting as an alternative if you want similar packages, cheap prices, and features but with better reliability and less known customer complaints.
You have seen the numbers. Numbers don’t lie. You should look no further.

I found your site on Google and read a few of your other entires. Nice Stuff. I’m looking forward to reading more from you.
Startlogic has gotten worse over the two years I have been with them. Email problems, long wait for telephone support and the slowest back panel (Vdeck3) I have ever used. When you see good comments about Startlogic you have to ask yourself one question. How many of these sites are affiliates that get 100 bucks for each sign up? I signed up 1 person and was ripped off by Startlogic because they said I was trying to get free hosting. You be the judge……….My site………www.alpha1.ca. The site I signed up………..www.thatitalianplace.ca. Wow have a computer repair business and an Italian restaurant……..ridiculous. Just a matter of time and I’m gone!!
When you see the bad reviews, multiply it by 10-100 times because people in general are slow to act when they are wronged.
GoDaddy SUCKS. No limit to users per shared server which makes loading your website a “snail” more times than other hosts. It will also “time out” a lot. The worst part is NO support. Speak to a tech and he or she doesn’t know what you are talking about. All they can do is place a ticket for you that ends up in a what they call a Que. My website has been down for 18 hours and there is nothing I can do but wait in the Que. If you want to deal with form emails and surveys twice a day use them! In the end you get what you pay for. With GoDaddy it’s aggravation, lost visitors, lost time and energy. I am going back to a company I have experience with – StartLogic. They aren’t #1 but they can keep your site up and running properly. From experience try the smaller companies – they have to try harder to survive. When they get as big as GoDaddy they don’t care about losing customers – there is another to fill the space right away and the CEO laughs all the way to the bank. “World class support” my butt cheeks!!
Startlogic does SUCK! The whole company is down as I write this!, all weekend had problems. First chance I get, I’m out of there!
Started Saturday and I was upset over the outage, wanted something more than “we apologize for the problem”. The answer from customer support “Do you call a cab because you can’t wait for the bus”? and the guy gave me a premium support popup!
I waited a whole day, then a customer support engineer said my DNS was not pointed at startlogic, closed the ticket. That’s total bull, I’m using URL forwarding.
Then an engineer says I’m exceeding SQL queries, max set at 75,000 at their end, and they will investigate. I haven’t changed anything, then suddenly one day it starts? I went with that answer, they promised me they would escalate.
Then 9 hours later, an engineer says “the categories of your blog are missing please correct the problem”. Closed the ticket. Thats bull, can’t see the pages because there’s a problem on their end! I reopened the ticket.
Finally an engineerr says I need to pay for a vps, or $20 a month to add #SQL queries. I did it. 2 days later I was up
Was it really that? Doubtful. Today, even startlogic.com was down. All my sites are down.
Conclusion: People are talking up startlogic because they are affiliates! They get commission for saying good things about them, forwarding them traffic. DONT USE THEM!
Latest response a minute ago, same apology!

Update: Turns out a faulty power supply and a UPS that failed to function took down Starlogics entire network, including their own website. 8 hours later still having random problems, but its getting better. My customers think I’m a blithering idiot
Update……….I recently posted about a problem with the affiliate system and non payment because I signed my customer up with the same credit card that I used to pay for my site……….they thought I was trying to get free hosting for another site………….in the end they paid me my 100us………….Fantastic!!!………….That problem is fixed………there is still some hope for these guys!!
They SUCK. I first did a test run of my new Joomla website on a free hosting service. Everything works fine. Two days later I upload the SAME site on StartLogic, and wham. 404 – component not found. They’re “resolving” my problem now. I’m giving them 12 hours and then I’m taking my business to SiteGround. Judging from several reviews, they know what they’re doing. Unlike StartLogic.
Start Logic are a bunch of rip offs. Do not believe the refund jargon, from my experience they don’t give your money back. I will now have to go to Visa and demand a return of funds.
Annother one to stay right away from is 1&1.com, I wish I had done a search on negative feedback on this business, as there are so many un happy customers like me to be found.
Both these busineses should be avoided at all costs.
they still suck. site pages go down without warning, they make config changes or something in the bg bec my site works one day and then doesn’t the next and has nothing to do with me since I haven’t even logged into control panel. stay away from these guys, I am going to do my best to transfer my three sites off of them and gruel through the pain.
